Raku ceramic firings with Professor Mark Terry

Black Tie Tours is excited to offer a new experience with Professor Mark Terry - acclaimed ceramicist and teacher. Spend an evening with us creating and firing your own raku pot! Mark will educate you on the process of raku firing, take you through the steps of glazing your pot and then, finally, turn up the heat and fire your own piece of art!

$1800 for up to 8 people. $150 for each additional person.

What’s Included?

• One pot for each guest to take home with them at the end of the experience.

• Hands-on education from Professor Terry on the history and process of raku ceramic firing.

• Wood-fired dinner from Chef Erick of Caballero’s Catering.

If you’d like to have this experience at a local winery, we can make that happen as well! Winery site fees and purchase minimums would apply separately. Otherwise, we will come to you!
